
Roasted chicken has always been part of the holiday
celebration. In the past, the superb food was prepared through an open fire. Though some people still prefer to do it the traditional way, nowadays, most do the roasting job through the oven which makes things fast and easier.
If you use the oven, there are, however, several things you need to know in order to get and preserve the rich taste of the chicken while roasting.
First, preheat the oven at a high temperature in order to immediately seal the meat and stop the juices from oozing out. Then you can lower the temperature after 15 minutes.
Second, you must always see to it that you are using the appropriate pan size for the chicken. A too big or a too small pan can over roast the chicken or cause it to stick to its surface thus affecting its taste.
Defrosting food in a microwave oven is a good way to melt ice or frozen parts of your food. However, sometimes food can have spots or parts that will not be defrosted completely. This is because microwave energy distributes unevenly inside the oven. M
