There are different types of pans that one uses in baking. Aside from choosing between uncoated pans and non-stick pans, you should also choose the right kind of
baking pan to use for whatever it is you're going to be baking.
The first type is a Bundt pan. This is a tube fan with fluted sides and is most commonly used for nut batters. These are seamless and are commonly
made of aluminum.
Jelly roll pans are used for sheet cakes, cookies and jelly rolls. They are made from light-colored metal. One usually lines the pan to prevent your pastry from sticking.
The Kugelhopf with swirled fluting is another version of the Bundt pan. The purpose of this bake ware is to remove the need to
put design on the cake once it's baked since the fluting takes care of it.
The loaf pan is one of the most used types of bake ware. This is usually made of aluminum and has 3-inch sides that are preferably non-stick.
Muffin pans are used for molding batter into perfect cupcakes. Those that are made of silicone do not need greasing since nothing will really stick to them.
The rectangular and square pans are mostly used for baking large cakes. These kinds of pans can also be used for baking brownies and corn breads.
There are still other types of baking pans like the pie pan and the rounded ones, but the ones mentioned are the most common types used.
