Simple to make and simply divine, this caramel apple cake recipe is perfect for the holidays and with a
cup of coffee or hot chocolate to compliment it. Great for snacks or the unexpected guest who suddenly shows up at your doorstep.
To bake this cake, you'll need: Flour, brown and white sugar, salt, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, butter, and vanilla, eggs, apples, pecans and
caramel syrup. Mix all the ingredients (except the apples, pecans and the syrup) in a large bowl. Beat until smooth, and stir in the apples and pecans by hand. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a greased pan, pour in the mix and bake at
350 degrees for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack, and pour the caramel syrup on top before serving.
