I am sure that you have a Filipino neighbor, or dentist, or nurse. Filipinos come from the Philippines. They are among the highest number of
migratory citizens. Filipinos are popular, well, aside from Imelda Marcos and her shoes, because of its native delicacy, the
Filipino Adobo.
If you feel like tasting
Southeast Asian food then try cooking this very simple Adobo recipe.
You will need:
1 cup of white vinegar
1/2 cup of water
1/4 cup of soy sauce
1/2 kilo of pork loins
1/2 kilo of chicken
1 head of garlic
3 bay leaves
1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
Procedures:
1. You prepare the meat by cutting it in medium size pieces. This is done so the meat can absorb more of the flavor.
2. Place the pork in a pan. Heat it until the fat becomes oil.
3. Remove the pork in the pan and saute the garlic in the oil. The oil will add flavor to this recipe.
4. Add the vinegar, water, black pepper, and bay leaves. Bring to a boil. When boiling, add the meat and let simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.
5. Check if the meat is cooked and the sauce reduced to half.
And you're done! This dish is best served on white rice. Enjoy this new dish with your family and friends. It'll be something to talk about.
