Cake brownies is as sweet as a
honeymoon in Paris. Yes, you may find it exaggerating but once you have tasted it, you will know what I mean.
Brownie Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup oil
1 cup water
4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Chocolate Frosting:
1/2 cup butter
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1/3 cup buttermilk
1 package confectioners sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon vanilla
First, preheat oven to 350°F. Then, grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch baking pan and mix 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup oil, water and 4 tablespoons cocoa together in small sauce pan. Let it boil and add cocoa mixture to flour and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Beat until it becomes smooth. After that, add eggs,
baking soda, buttermilk and vanilla. Mix them well, pour into prepared baking pan and bake for 20 minutes.
While baking the brownies, prepare frosting. Place all frosting ingredients in medium saucepan and heat. In case frosting is too thin, add a little more confectioners' sugar but do not boil. Lastly, frost the brownies immediately after removing from oven and divide into squares when cooled.
